My First Car

As I'm watching a movie(About A Boy, for those inquiring minds) I keep seeing these ads for myfirstcarstory.com for Subaru. People go online and write about their first car which got me thinking about mine.

I really don't remember my first car. It's only been 16 years but I really don't. I think it was a Chevy. What I do recall is that it was basically a hand me down from my sister Tami and it was a station wagon but a mini one. I believe the agreement on the sale price was $500 but knowing me at that time I probably never paid it in full.

My story certainly isn't fit for tv so I shared it here instead. I hope you were thrilled to hear it!

Contradictions

I'm watching the Daily Show tonight and they showed a clip of President Obama defining insanity. Although technically I don't think it's a true definition just the famous quote from Albert Einstein. In the event you are unaware of what I'm talking about, here: Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Which perplexed me tonight because what popped into my head is the fact that we are taught "repetition is the key to success" or "practice makes perfect." So which do we believe?
